Fiduciary Responsibilities of Agents to Their Clients

All real estate agents have certain Fiduciary Responsibilites to their clients as set forth in the Agency Disclosure brochure that agents must discuss and explain to potential clients before they enter into any type of agreement either with the agent to be represented or with a buyer or seller to buy or sell real property.

The Fiduciary Responsibilites are the following:

                                               Confidentiality

                                               Obedience

                                               Accounting

                                               Loyalty

                                               Disclosure

These are discussed in the SC Agency Disclosure brochure.  Customers do not have the same level of services as clients do and they do not fall under any of the Fiduciary Responsibilites above.  For more information or if you have any questions regarding establishing Agency with a real estate agent, contact us.
