Keys to Your New Home!

Buyer Representation

Congratulations!  You have decided to purchase a home.  You'll be joining the ranks of hundreds of families who realize that home ownership offers a number of benefits including building equity, saving for the future, and creating an environment for your family.  When you own your own home, your hard-earned dollars contribute to your mortgage. The equity you earn is yours.

Although the recent real estate market has not seen a huge increase in home values, historically, over time, your home will increase in value.  It's important to have your own real estate agent working on your behalf to assist you in finding the perfect home for you and your family.

South Carolina, like many states today, recognizes Buyer Agency which allows for Buyer Representation in the real estate transaction.  This is a great benefit for buyers and, in most cases, it's absolutely free to you!

This Sample Buyer Representation Agreement is the one that we use with our buyers.  There are several versions that vary by real estate company but, all cover the basic items which estabish Agency and the Fiduciary Responsibilities that go along with Agency.

We also have experience in Short Sales and Foreclosures so, if either interests you and you'd like to know more, we'd be happy to discuss the ins and outs of purchasing either a Short Sale or Foreclosure.

Please contact us if you have any questions about buying a home in the Charleston or Summerville areas.

In the reports below, you'll find the information you need to make a wise buying decision.  Feel free to print them and use them to build your knowledge.  We'll take you through the planning process step-by-step to help you determine which home is right for you.  You'll find a host of informative articles on mortgages, viewing homes, the offer, closing details and moving.

Also, you can view our "Buyer's Toolkit" for more great information to assist you with your buying process.
